We specialize in 4 self-care pathways for sustainable weight loss, healthier diet, physical activities for strength, better restorative sleep practices and positive mindset.

Wellness Academy evidence-based lifestyle wellness program works to reduce weight, high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, insulin resistance, waist circumference, and cognitive decline. Our program also focuses on improving inflammation and musculoskeletal joint pain associated with arthritis and bone health issues. We work with you on a daily basis on safe self-care practices to detoxify your body, teach you what healthy organic foods to shop for and how to prepare simple delicious meals, how to add more physical activity into your daily life, and how to sustain better restorative sleep. We are there for you – person to person, and day to day – to inspire and support you with your daily motivation.

Miami HealthCoach is a lifestyle prevention program, developed after years of research, observation, and practice, emphasizing a return to a more holistic, non-industrial diet, and an increase in physical activity similar to the way humans evolved to eat and move daily.

Adherence to the Miami HealthCoach protocols improves human performance, increases flexibility, strength, sleep, mental health, brain wellness and facilitates healthier life span.

Miami HealthCoach is located in Coconut Grove, (Miami), and is available for in-person one-on-one nutrition consultations, and physical activity training, or the option to work remotely through Telehealth Zoom conferencing.

Longevity – Geroscience

Geroscience connects the biology of aging and the biology of disease.

People are living longer today because of progress in medical care, lifestyle prevention strategies, improvements in sanitation, clean water supplies, childhood immunization, healthy foods choices which increase telomere length, and improved hygiene and living conditions.

Many people suffer from debilitating conditions because research has focused on curing life-threatening diseases such as cancer and cardiovascular disease and not prevention strategies for the growing population of older adults.

Geroscience may provide, along with prevention strategies, a novel preventive or diagnostic measures that can reduce the burden of age-related diseases and disability, and help increase life expectancy and the quality of life.

Blue Zones are places or regions which have a high concentration of centenarians in addition to clusters of people who have reached old age without disease and/or other health conditions such as obesity, cancer, diabetes, and heart problems.

Rejuvenation Meals

Healthy eating patterns are based on studies where people live longer disease-free lives. These patterns include fiber rich in vegetables, root vegetables, fruits, raw nuts, legumes, non-tropical vegetable oils (i.e., cooking with olive oil instead of coconut or palm oils), high intake of omega-3 fatty acids from DHA, EPA and ALA, whole-fat grass fed yogurts, deep sea water fish, eggs, wild game, and fungi mushrooms, which are not plant or animal. A healthy diet also includes being hydrated with clean chemical free water.

Anti-Aging & Longevity

To address aging there are two approaches, low-tech and a high-tech approach.

Living a long life begins with a mother eating well and breast feeding her child which reduces risk for future disease of the child. Consuming whole organic foods, daily activities such as walking, swimming, stretching, whole body weight strength exercises, getting plenty of sustained sleep, being able to manage stress, embracing happiness and consuming phytonutrients that are alive and rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, are the keys slowing down the aging process and increasing life expectancy. 

A high-tech approach involves new technologies that are currently being studied to rejuvenate mitochondria, clear up protein accumulations in our cells, and stems cell therapy.

Chronic Disease Prevention

Chronic disease include conditions such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, respiratory conditions, arthritis and autoimmune disease. In high-income countries, chronic disease have long been the leading causes of death and disability. Globally, more than 70 % of deaths are due to chronic disease, in the United States, more than 87 %. Almost one in two Americans has at least one chronic condition. Aside from the cost in terms of human welfare, treatment of chronic disease accounts for an estimated three quarters of U.S. health care spending.
